지지(GG) 또는 ㅈㅈ

‘Good Game’또는 ‘Give up Game’의 약자. 스타크래프트에서 항복하고자 할 때 대화 창에 치는 명령어에서 유래하였다. 어떠한 일을 실패하여 낭패를 보았을 때 사용되기도 한다. 질 것 같으면 GG로 인사를 하고 중간에 포기하는 경우가 많았고 점차 뜻이 '포기한다'의 뜻으로 바뀌게 된다. 게임 시작 전에 GG(Good Game)를 치는 것으로 서로 인사를 나누거나, 상대방도 GG로 화답한다.

Short for "Good Game" or "Give up Game" — from the StarCraft command typed in chat to concede. Also used generally after any failure or setback. Players often exchange "GG" both before a match as a greeting and after it as a sign of resignation.
