「명사」채팅을 잠시 중단하는 것을 물 밑으로 잠수하는 듯하다 해서 생긴 말로, 피시통신의 대화방에서 유래되었다. 보통 '잠수를 탄다'라고 사용한다. 영어권에는 'AFK

Literally "diving underwater" — used for suddenly going silent and disappearing from a chat or conversation, as if submerging. Traces back to old PC-communication chatrooms. Usually phrased as "going quiet" (jamsu-reul tanda) — similar to the English "AFK."
