오크

「명사」원래는 게임에서 나오는 못생긴 괴물의 이름이었으나, 못생긴 사람을 지칭하는 말로도 쓰인다. 오크녀, 오크남 등의 말로 응용된다. 반대말로는 엘프가 있다.

Originally the name of an ugly game monster (an orc); now also used for an unattractive person, as in "orc-girl" or "orc-guy." The opposite is "elf."
