Short for 감 다 살았네 (“your touch is fully alive”). Praise for sharp taste, flair or instinct — in an outfit, a plan, a choice.
Opposites
감다죽 (“your touch is dead”) and the cruder 감다뒤 (“your touch has croaked”). Asia Today glosses 감다뒤 as “no sense at all.”
Spread
In March 2025, Etoday called 감다살 and 감다죽 the “magic three syllables” that make the K-pop industry laugh or cry; in May, Seoul Economic Daily put 감다살 in its slang dictionary column.

Who first said it is unconfirmed. Seoul Economic Daily says only that it has been “spreading online recently.”
